THE COSY COUXER CLUB 4 The boys who congregate daily, and spend much of their time at the Reynolds Rey-nolds corner, received a very valuable present last Friday morning, in the form of a fancy colored cushion, stuffed stuff-ed with straw, etc. The etc. consisted consist-ed of a dozen pins, with the points upward, nicely concealed. When Cy. Jjbnson sat down upon the pad he discovered the pin3. Accompanying Accom-panying the donation was a tab bearing bear-ing the legend: '"Donated to the boys of Cosy Corner. rCoiupli meats of the sympathizing girls." This was a very thoughtful present on the pait of the "Sympathizing Girls." They had passed the ' Cosy Corner" often, and to their tender hearts It seemed cruel for the dear boys to 6it upon the cold stones, with nothing between them and said stones except a pair of overalls. Hut girls, the chairman of the 4Corner" has . monopolized the soft spot, and that .leaves the thirty- nine members of the "Cosy Corner Club" with nothing "but the cold stones to hold down. Uncork the vials of your sympathy, dear girls, call a convention, and make the other thirty-nine cushions for the club; and thebiyssay, "please leave out the pins." The cashier of the bank has marked off 40 spaces on the three tiers of steps, of that institution, for the full delegation, leaving a three feet space for the patrons to pass in and out; and the cushions will make things look nice, and save the boys much shifting about to find a soft SJKt. At a recent meeting of the "Cosy Corner" members, it was unanimously agreed that they adjourne from the Reynolds corner, to the bauk shady corner, until Oct. 1st. Sweet symphathizers, call a "quilt-in"' "quilt-in"' and fix up a full compliment of cushions, without pins. Piles are not only most painful, but also very dangerous, as the inflamed nodules are very apt to take on ma-lignent ma-lignent action and cancer of the rectum rec-tum is produced.
