Show 4 Social Events BrownynHowdysliell, Matthew Wright to marry October 5 Bronwyn Howdyshell, of Lander, Wyoming, Wyo-ming, and Matthew Wright, formerly of Mapleton, Utah, are engaged to be married. The wedding is planned for Friday, Fri-day, Oct. 5, 2007 in the Provo Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. There will be an open house in their honor October 5th, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Law residence, 1444 E. Center Street in Springville. All family and friends are invited to attend. Bronwyn is the daughter of Cindy Howdyshell and Randall HowdyshelL Matthew is the son of George and Jane Wright, formerly of Mapleton. The bride-to-be is a 2006 graduate of Lander Valley High School. She is currently attending Central Wyoming College, pursuing a degree in business administration. They were married on that day in 1957 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Tem-ple. They have shared 50 years of joys and sorrows. The Condies have been blessed with eight children, 19 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren They have always been a team, raising eight children was a united effort. A major ma-jor part of their lives has also been church service. In recent years they have been able to serve together as stake missionaries and as full-time missionaries in the Nashville, Tennessee Mission. They currently enjoy doing family history and temple work. As their descendants, their children and grandchildren grand-children are grateful for their example. "We hope that they know of our great love for them and the sacrifices sac-rifices they have made for us throughout the years. Happy 50th anniversary!" they said. The group has been active in Springville for 57 years. Musettes looking for new members In December of 1949, a small group of women got together to organize a singing group, not just to provide an opportunity for expressing their musical gifts and talents, but for the cultural enrichment of the community. It became a performing music club, known as the Musettes Ladies La-dies Chorus. The Mussettes have given countless hours of service to this community for 57 years, offering uplifting programs to many civic gatherings, funerals, clubs and to church groups. They have also performed in other oth-er communities throughout the state, and given cash scholarship awards to deserving de-serving graduating Springville Spring-ville High School seniors who have a desire to further their musical careers.
