Show SPRINGVILLE MEN ENTER RACE FOR MEMBERSHIP TO NEBO BOARD OF TRUSTEES J. F. Bringhurst and John F. Mendenhall Would Represent Precinct No. 1 on District Board; Both Are Able Men Trecincts one, three nnd five, of I the Nebo School district will each I elect one member to the board of j trustees nt the annual school board election to be held in these precincts i Wednesday, December 1. Precinct one is comprised of Springville nnd Mupleton ; Hire, Lake Sliore, Honjnmin nnd Salem, and five, Santaquin, Gonola, Gosb-eu, Gosb-eu, Alberta and Dividend. The candidates who have made their filing with the district clerk in compliance with the law are: Precinct 1 .1. F. Bringhurst nnd John F. Mendenhall, both of Spring-viile. Spring-viile. I'recinct 3 Roy T. Gardner nnd Chris Yergensen, both of Salem. Precinct 0 Austin Carter nnd II. A. Groenhnleh, both of Knnlaquin ; It. II. ISoswell nnd John Jnsperson. both of Goshen; Lester Dobbs of Dividend. The trustees whose term of office expires January 1, 1927, are J. F. Bringhurst of Springville, who seeks re-election ; J. A. Westring, Itcnjaniin, and Mr. Hoswell, who will re-enter the race for re-election. , Springville is fortunate in having hav-ing two able men aspirins to the iboard. Mr. Bringhurst has served in this capacity for one term and has given general satisfaction to school officials. He is a member of the Ctah slake presidency nnd prior to serving in that, capacity was bishop of the Springville Second wurd for nbout twenty years. He is a successful farmer, and has a wide acquaintance throughout the Nebo school district. Mr. Mendenhall is one of Spring-ville's Spring-ville's most successful and iuflu-ential iuflu-ential business men. He is general manager of the Mendenhall Banking Bank-ing company, a member of the Springville Kiwanis club, ami a bonsler of the first order. During his life he has held many offices of trust, lie is active, progressive, and if elected to the position to which he aspires would undoubtedly give the Nebo school district the benefit bene-fit of his business experience. |
