Show BOARD NAMED " TO HEAD C. E. Principal of Wasatch Academy Acad-emy Re-elected President of Christian Endeavor. ; - The Rev. A. K. Boand of the Wasatch Wa-satch academy at Mt. Pleasant was : re-elected president, of the Interdenominational Inter-denominational Christian Endeavor union of the state at the banquet given the delegates at Mena Trope hall Saturday evening. Installation of officers was conducted Sunday morning by Miss Mary Brown of California. Mrs. Rose Whitely of Ogden acted as toast mistress at the banquet and following the response of J. Hall Belt, a fund of $400 was raised for state expenses in carrying out the work of the union. Following the banquet, a social was held under the direction of Marjorie Badercher of Ogden, state chairman of the social committee. Games were played and refreshments refresh-ments served. At the Sunday school service Sunday Sun-day morning, Corey Hanks, noted blind lecturer made a brief address to the children and the Rev. J. A. Van Gorkham of Westminister college. col-lege. Salt Lake, was the principal speaker at the regular church service ser-vice following the Sunday school. The conference closed Sunday afternoon after-noon with the Mizpah service conducted con-ducted by Reverend Boand. Members of the local committee wish to express their appreciation and thanks to everyone in Provo who assisted in the convention and especially to those who entertained the visiting delegates. |
