Show CITIZENS OF SPRINGVILLE SHOULD VOTE AT THE COMING BOND ELECTION Your Representatives in the City Council have decided to make certain cer-tain improvements in our city water system, and want to know by your vote whether or not their proposition meets with your approval. "V HERE IS THE PROPOSITION i L "Shall the negotiable coupon bonds of the City of Spring-ville, Spring-ville, Utah County, Utah, in the sum of ,$85,000.00, payable sur-' sur-' ially, $5,000.00 in five years from date of issue and $5,000 00 in each succeeding year thereafter until fully paid, bearing interest at the rate of four and four-tenths per cent (4.4) per annum, payable, semi-anuually, be issued and sold for the purpose of defraying de-fraying the expense of increasing, improving, enlarging, extending, extend-ing, repairing and adding to the present waterworks system and securing an additional water supply for said City for the purpose pur-pose of more adequately supplying and distributing water to the inhabitants thereof which said system and works shall be owned and controlled by said City 1" ' In calling this election the city council has used its best judgment, and now it is up to the voters of this city to approve or reject the proposal. The members of the city administration would much prefer that a great majority of the taxpayers should decide this question rather than only a few. For that reason this appeal is made to every eligible voter to express his or her desire on this question. It should not be a one-sided affair It should be passed upon by all who are qualified to vote. If you want the improvement and believe the city's best interests will be served by it say so with your vote. If you do not think it would be for the best interest of the city you should express yourself in that opinion.
