Show r Wed 58 Years ... h ,- - , & V - 'v Mr. and Mrs. Myron A. Boyer Springville Couple Will Observe 58th Anniversary of Marriage Mar. 1 Mr. and Mrs. Myron A. Boyer, well known couple of Springville will observe trie 58tk anniversary of their marriage mar-riage next Tliursday, MarcK 1. Due to Mrs. Boyer's 'health, no special party is planned for' the occasion. Tliery were married in the Manti Temple March 1, 1883, and have made their home in Springville since. Mr. Boyer, born here December 27, 1868, has followed the occupations occupa-tions of farming and stock raising rais-ing and during his early life, was associated with his brothers, Ernest, Ern-est, Lee and Wayne in railroad construction work. He was one of a group of five men who originated the Springville Canning Company in 1904, and served as superintendent superinten-dent at one time. He has served in many positions in the church including 25 years as clerk of the First ward. Mrs. Eliza Clegg Boyer, is also a native of Springville, born December Dec-ember 26, 1869, daughter of Wm. and Sarah E. Oates Clegg. She has always been active in dramatics and has taken part in many entertainments. She has served as teacher in the various church auxiliary organizations and is a member of Camp Kolbb DUP. The couple have four sons and daughters, M. Oscar Boyer, Harlan Har-lan Boyer, Mrs. Thelma Carter of Springville and Glen S. Boyer of Salt Lake City; also 17 grandchildren grand-children and 13 great grandchildren. |
