Rolla Hall Honored at Beautiful Reception One of the loveliest of the early spring social functions was the wedding reception last Wednesday-evening, Wednesday-evening, honoring the former Miss Mary Nell Alle- the reception by Mrs. Bessie Men-denhall. Men-denhall. Shortly after the reception, the newlyweds left on a honeymoon trip to California,, and upon their return will make their home in Spanish Fork. man and J. Rolla Hall. : The couple exchanged wedding vows in the Salt Lake Temple on Monday, February 11, with Chas. R. Jones officiating. The Third-Ninth ward church provided an appropriate setting for the reception and the rooms were decorated throughout with beautiful floral pieces and plants. Large palm trees were shipped in to decorate the foyeT of the church and between the trees were ped-estials ped-estials holding bouquets of pink lilies, pink carnations and pink and white stock. Azalia plants with pink blossoms were also arranged about the hall. For her wedding, the bride chose an off-white gown of slipper satin designed with a stand-up collar, long, pointed sleeves and full back which fell into a long train. Tiny satin buttons trimmed the tight-fitting tight-fitting bodice. Her veil of bride's illusion, finger-tip length, was arranged to a Juliette cap. She carried a bouquet bou-quet of orchids, surrounded with stephanotis. Attending as matron of honor was Mrs. Carol B. Bray, while Ellen El-len Loback, Marilyn Holley & Lo-raine Lo-raine B. Southworth were maids of honor. They wore ballerina-length ballerina-length gowns, made similar to the brides in shades of pink and held heart-shaped bouquets of vanda orchids and pink carnations encircled encir-cled with pink silk netting. Little Diana Alleman was flower girl and wore a pink formal with 'similar bouquet. John Beck of Spanish Fork, did best man duties. Parents of the bride and groom, Mr. and Mrs. Will Alleman of Springville, and Mr. and Mrs. Rolla Hall of Spanish Fork, were also in the receiving line and the mothers mo-thers wore afternoon gowns with orchid corsages. Greeting guests at the door were an aunt and uncle of the bride, Mr. and Mrs. L. J. Whitney and aunt and uncle of the grom, Mr. and Mrs. Dave Bowen of Spanish Fork. In charge of refreshments were Mrs. Esther Harmer, Mrs. Elsie Thyrett and Mrs. Leonia Cameron, while Carol Holmes. Lorna Hafetn and Joan Miner served. In the trousseau room were the bride's brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Dan Alleman, while Mr. and Mrs. Glen Alleman and Mr. and Mrs. Max Alleman assisted assist-ed in arranging the gifts. Bert Strong was master of ceremonies cere-monies during the program for the evening and announced violin selections sel-ections by Gordon Childs. accompanied accom-panied by Douglas Childs; readings, read-ings, Mrs. Marie Huff; vocal solos. Anna Merie Fry, acompanied by Norma Brockbank; toast to the bride and groom in a musical setting, set-ting, Jane Tanner, accompanied by Mrs. Beth Crandall: vocal trio.
