' ; i -'A Mr. and Mrs. LaMar Hales, nee Nadine Snow Reception Honors Springville Couple Wed Wednesday In Double Ring Rites One of tne loveliest of early spring nuptial events was the reception honoring Miss Nadine Snow and LaMar Hales last Wed nesday evening in the Second ward. The couple exchanged wedding vows in a double-ring ceremony performed by Bishop Oliver Dalton at 6 o'clock and the reception followed with a large crowd of relatives and friends attending. v The bride, dau ghter of Mr. and Mrs. A. R. onow, was charming in a wedding gown of ivory slipper satin, entrain Her veil of brides' illusion fell from a halo of satin with orange blossoms. She carried a single orchid. Attending the bride as maids of honor were, Miss Patricia Pa-tricia Mann, a cousin of Arcadia, Calif., Mrs. Boyd (Jackie) Snow, Miss Eileen Hales, sister of the groom. Miss Mann wore aqua; Mrs. Snow, yellow and Miss Hales, green. They held colonial bouquets of pink and whrite. The groom, who is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Hales of this city, was attended at-tended by Leon Wimb er as best man. Mrs. Snow chose cerise with beading for her daughter s wedding with corsage of gardenias and roses and Mrs. Hal es wore blue with rose and gardenia corsage. Mark and Zella Hales Singleton, sister and brother-in-law of the groom, received the guests. In charge of the gift room were, Mrs. Earl Snow, Mrs. Jeff Miner and Mrs. Jack Robertson. In the serving room was Mrs. H. K. Newton, assisted by Carol Friel, Lu Ann McPherson, Laura Lee McKenzie, Kay Groesbeck, and Donna Jean Crandall all of whom were in pastel formals. The cousins of the bride cut and served the beautiful 3-tiered 3-tiered wedding cake. Paul K. Walker was master of ceremonies during the program. A toast to the bride was given by Mrs. Lillian Binks and to the groom by Bishop Leo Crandall. Several other program numbers also entertained the guests. Shortly after their marriage, the couple left for a short wedding trip, the bride changing into -a navy blue suit. They are now at home at their new apartment, 43 West Third North in this city. |
