Davis of San Francisco, January 30. Daughter of Former Residents Sets Wedding Date with California Man ior College, he was active in student government, president of the Alpha Gamma Sigma Honor Society and president of the Veterans' Club. He was also all-conference and co-captain of the football team for two years and lettered two years in baseball. He graduated in 1958 from California State College at San Francisco where he affiliated with Phi Delta Kappa. He was president of Alpha Zeta Sigma, Sig-ma, social fraternity. He served with the Airborne Rangers in Korea and is presently pres-ently managing a retail store in San Francisco. Nuptial news of interest concerning con-cerning the daughter of former well-known Springville people, tells of the engagement of attractive at-tractive Miss June Johnson, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Law-rence Johnson of Fontana, California, Cal-ifornia, to Frank L. Davis of San Francisco, Calif. The wedding will be an event of January 30 and a reception will honor the young couple in the Fontana LDS Ward church. Parents of the groom-to-be are Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Davis of Anaheim, Calif. Miss Johnson graduated in 1955 from high school at Fontana Fon-tana where she was a member mem-ber of the California State Reporter, Re-porter, Future Business Leaders Lead-ers of America, a junior representative repre-sentative of the Girls League and active in band. Upon graduation she was awarded a scholarship to Chaf-fey Chaf-fey College. She was an Adrian model, drum majorettel played in the orchestra and was secretary sec-retary of the sophomore class. Her fiance was valedictorian of his graduating class from Pittsburg, Calif., high school where he was also president of the Boys' League and vice-president vice-president of the Lettermen's Society.
