Show Wedding Party Honors Pair Married On Wednesday, July 13 At Evanston i Announcements is made this week of the marriage mar-riage of Miss Ruth Hatfield, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Hatfield of Mapleton, to Sterling Bahr, son son of Mr. and Mrs. George Bahr of Salem.' The ceremony took place at Evanston, Wyo., , on Wednesday, T..1.. 1 o n 1 4-1 jujjr j.o, ojili Auiiuwing Liieii marriage, mar-riage, the couple toured Yellowstone Yellow-stone Park and visited at Teton-ia, Teton-ia, Ida., on their honeymoon. Upon their return, they were honored with a wedding party in the First ward amusement hall, to which more than a hundred relatives rel-atives and friends came to extend best wishes. The bride choose a pretty white lace afternoon dress for her reception re-ception with corsage! of white carnations and red roses. Assisting Assist-ing with the receiving of guests were parents of the newlyweds. A .program, announced by Mr. Bahr, father of the groom, dancing danc-ing and refreshments featured the occasion. A reading was 'given by Joan Provstgaard of Payson, an accordian selection, Wallace Johnson; John-son; a clarinet solo, Gale Provstgaard Provst-gaard of Payson- a reading by Mrs. Iris Dibble of Mapleton; guitar duet, Neola Steiner and Joyce Peckenpaugh of Spanish Fork; a dance duet, Leah Reynolds Rey-nolds and Carol Bird; guitar and vocal selections, Raymond Knut-son Knut-son and Don Smith. The hall was pretty with a profusion of summer flowers. The newlyweds are making their home at Mapleton for the present. The bride, a graduate of the local high school, is employed at the G. Lowry Anderson Ford Motor Co. Mr. Bahr, a former student of the U.S.A.C., Logan served with the Army Air Corps during World War H. He is employed with the Gilhool Theaters. ' |
