Show jfelly Home Wedding Unites Couple; I I'elJowsfone Trip Follows Rites 'TbTckgi-ound of pink and white gladioli and tall w'tnpers formed a perfect setting for the pretty Uridine of Miss Lois Hansen and Rov Ander- Sson of Spanish Fork, Tuesday evening ev-ening of last week. The bride is a daughter of Mr and Mrs. Fred Hansen of Spring! ville and the groom, a son of Mr and Mrs. Elliott Anderson of Mid-vale, Mid-vale, formerly of Spanish Fork The wedding rites were solemnized solem-nized by Andrew Peterson of the Kolob LDS stake presidency and were witnessed by members of the immediate families and close friends of the young couple. The pretty bride was gowned in traditional white satin, entrain with a yoke of silk net. Her veil was also of silk net and fell to fingertip length from a crown of seed pearls. Her ibridal bouquet was fashioned of pink rosebuds with long white streamers. Her only attendant was Mrs. Gene Greener of Payson, matron-of-honor. She was dressed in a crist organdy formal of pale pink and carried a dainty nosegay of pink and white. Mrs. Hansen chose black and Mrs. Anderson pale blue for their dresses. They wore corsages of baby white orchids tied with gold ribbon. Acting as best man for the groom was his brother-in-law, Max Carson, of Spanish Fork. The wedding march was played by Mrs. Mary Whiting on the organ or-gan and Miss Veloy Singleton of Provo, close friend of the bride, sang "I Love You Truly." After tWe wedding rites the guests enjoyed an informal reception re-ception and viewed gifts which were displayed on lace-covered I tables. Refreshments were served under the supervision of Mrs. Thelma and Louise Harmer of Payson, sisters-in-law of Miss Hansen. They were assisted by Helen and Lynn Harmer and Dorothy Dor-othy May and Janet Groesbeck. The bride is a graduate "of the Springville High school and Brig-ham Brig-ham Young university. While attending at-tending the latter she was affiliated affili-ated with the Nautilus social unit, Theta Alpha Phi, and the Masque club, and took a prominent part in dramatics. For the past two years, she has been employed as instructor at the North Sevier high school at Salina. Mr. Anderson graduated from the Spanish Fork high school and served for tour years in the Navy. After a honeymoon trip to Yellowstone Yel-lowstone Park, the couple will make their home at 23 E. 4th N., Springville. For her going away ensemble, the bride chose a gray sharkskin suit with matching gray and pink accessories. |
