Show Couple Making Home In Arizona Following Temple Marriage Mr. and Mrs. Leo Grover of Mapleton announce the marriage of (heir son, Joel, to Benita Ramirez of Spring Canyon. The young couple was married December 15 in the Salt Lake temple by Elder Spen- cer W. Kimball, and a reception was given in their honor in the Temple View stake hall in Salt Lake City. The-new Mrs. Grover was lovely love-ly in an ivory-colored satin dress fashioned with a lace yoke, long pointed sleeves and a train. Her veil fell from a crown of orange blossoms and she carried a bouquet bou-quet of white roses. Andrea Ramirez, sister of the bride, acted as maid of honor, with Tina Lou Daniels, and Mary Gover as bridesmaids. Little Jolene Caldwell and Linda Ramirez were trainbearers. The bride, an accomplished musician and vocalist, is a graduate gradu-ate of the state school for the blind at Ogden. She has attended Carbon college, University of Utah, Michigan state normal college, and is a graduate of BYU. She ia now a teacher for the blind at Phoenix, Ariz. Mr. Grover served with the navy during World War II, attended USA at Logan, and studied at BYU. At present he is attending Temple college at Phoenix. The young couple spent Christmas Christ-mas with relatives in Utah before returning to Phoenix, where they will make their home. |
