Mecham Couple United In Home Rites May 11 A wedding of interest to ttieir many friends is that of Miss Charlotte Robinson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Robinson of this city, and J. L. Mecham, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Mecham of Provo. 1 The wedding vows were solemnized at the home of the bride's parents early Wednesday evening, May 11. Bishop Wilford W. Clyde of the Ninth ward performed the ceremony cere-mony in the presence of immediate family members and close friends of the couple. The bride was charming in an acqua blue suit with gray accessories. She carried a white satin Bible mounted with a single orchid. Attending the bride was her sister-in-law, Mrs. Mau-nne Mau-nne Rob inson, as matron of honor, and Miss Doris Holm-stead Holm-stead and Miss Owen Reid were bridesmaids. Ladd Han- I sen of Provo acted as best man. The couple was honored with an informal wedding party after the ceremony. Following a honeymoon through Nevada and in southern south-ern California, the young couple are making their home in I 'rnvn The bride is a graduate of the Springville high school, and the groom graduated from the Provo high school and is a former student of the Brigham Young University. |
