Show 'Newlyweds Make Home In Springville After Temple Marriage In St. George Honoring Miss Laraine Beardall and Marl: L. South-worth South-worth who were married on March 17, in the St. George Temple, a wedding reception was held at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ken- neth Beardall, last Thursday evening, ev-ening, with approximately 250 guests attending. Pretty floral decorations and candles were used as the background back-ground for the bridal party as they greeted relatives and friends. The bride was charming in a white taffetta arid brocade wedding wed-ding gown with finger-tip veil of bride's illusion which fell from a crown of seed-pearls. Her corsage cor-sage was of red rose-buds and gardenias. The Misses Lorna Nielson and Nell Alleman were bridesmaids and wore pastel colored formals with corsages in corresponding colors. Alvin Wardle , and Clair D'emmur stood with the groom. Others in the receiving line included in-cluded the bride's parents and the parents of the groom, Mr. and Mrs. S. Southworth of Hazelton, Ida. A delightful program of string music was furnished durine- the evening by Allan Black, who gave Hawaiian guitar numbers; by Mark Beardall of Salt Lake City, and by Carma Barker. Refreshments were served under un-der direction of Mrs. Afton Barker, Bar-ker, Mrs. Millie DeeWoody, assisted assis-ted by Carma Barker, Dawn Fullmer, Full-mer, Jonene Fullmer, Wilma Fullmer Full-mer and Eva Bjarnson. The gifts were arranged by Mrs. Jessie Black, Mrs. Millie Fullmer, Irene Sumsion, Preal Beardall and Vera Beardall, assisted by Tonna Beardall and Marilyn Barker. Following their marriage, the couple spent a few days touring the canyons in Southern Utah and are now making their home in Springville, while the bride continues con-tinues her studies at the high school and the groom at the Brig-ham Brig-ham Young University. |
