Show Now Living in Springville . . . j 1 a - - , ... Mr. and Mrs. Fred Ghilds (Anita Richmond), who were married mar-ried in the Logan temple earlier in the month. Newlyweds Mr. and Mrs. Fred Childs Establishing Residence in Springville Now in their home at 264 East 3rd South following follow-ing a honeymoon to southern Utah and Las Vegas, Nevada, are newlyweds Fred Childs and his bride, the former Anita Richmond, both ofs Springville. They were married the first part of this month in the Logan temple. A reception was held in their honor the next evening in the Second-Eighth Second-Eighth ward church. For her reception the bride wore a lace and tulle gown over satin. A knife-pleated inset of tulle adorned the skirt and a mandarin collar topped the fitted bodice. Her veil, also of tulle, was caught to a tierra of seed pearls and she carried a bouquet fashioned of orchids or-chids and stephanotis with orchid velvet streamers. LaRue Gerber was matron of honor and bridesmaids included Janet Evans, Geniel Felix, Carla Crandall, LaRae Underwood and Rada Miner. Attendants were frocked in pastel pas-tel formals and carried nosegays. Mrs. Richmond wore a rose taupe lace dress and Mrs. Childs, an orchid lace. Both wore orchid corsages. Floyd Childs, brother of the groom, was best man. Mr. and Mrs. LaMar Crandall were receptionists and Carolee Newman and Shirley Graves attended at-tended the guest registry. Mack Boyack and Marlin Giles were ushers. ush-ers. In the gift and trousseau rooms were Mrs. George Jones, Mrs. Oscar Os-car Lopez, Mrs. Evan Francis, Mrs. Dick Peterson, and Patsy Lansing. Giftbearers were DeVere Childs, Dale Childs, Peggy Gerber, Carolyn Caro-lyn and Joan Crandall. The beautiful tiered wedding cake was set on a revolving turntable turn-table encircled with flowers and ribbons. Rose bowls in lace ruffling decorated small tables at which the guests were served. Supervising refreshments were Mrs. Wells Chadwick, Mrs. Andrew Underwood, Mrs. Melvin Peterson, Mrs. Frank Fackrell and Mrs. Randall Shepherd. Serving was done by Sheila Gay Hale. Delora Bertelsen, Conda Weight, Ruth Childs and Mary Ann Childs. Organ music during the reception recep-tion was played by Mrs. Maurice Bird. C. Lynn Hanks emceed the program which included a vocal solo by Robert Peirce; pantomime by Evan and Sam Francis; piano solo, Mary Bird; vocal solo, Frances Fran-ces Clark; a toast to the groom, LeRoy Hill; toast to the bride, Mrs. k Alvin Taylor. |
