Booth Wed in California Church Ceremony Mr. and Mrs. Verl Jensen of Mapleton, announce the marriage of their daughter, Sharon, to Cpl. Lyle Richard Booth, USMC, son of John W. Booth of jiapieion ana Airs. Lavon unns- topherson. of Salt Lake City. The marriage was performed October 4th in Whittier, California Califor-nia by Bishop Norman L. Jacobson in 'the chapel of the LDS Fourth ward in Whittier. The double ring ceremony was witnessed by close friends aad relatives of the bride and groom. Immediately following the ceremony, cere-mony, John W. Booth was host at a wedding supper held at "Paul's Dining Room", where the bride and rroom cut their wedding cake. The bride, a graduate of the Springville high school and LDS Seminary has been employed in Downey, Calif., during the summer sum-mer months, living with a cousin afld husband, Mr. and Mrs. John layson (Thera Lou Jensen). The groom is stationed at Camp Pendleton with the marines. After a honeymoon spent in Utah the young couple plan on making their tone in San Clemente, Calif., until the groom finishes his term of duty with the marines. Several parties are being planned plan-ned for the young couple including a bridal shower to be held in the Mapleton church October 19. |
