Fredrickson, nee LuDean Clark Reception Honors Couple Married In Double Ring Ceremony Dec. 7 A lovely mid-winter wedding was that of Miss LuDean Clark, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Clark of this city and William E. Frederickson, son of Mrs. , I mals with colonial bouquets of gardenias and rose - buds and j mums. Other in the receiving line were Mr. and Mrs. Clark and Mr. and j Mrs. Wickerd. Mrs. Clark chose ; teal blue for her daughter's reception recep-tion and Mrs. Wickerd was in black. Their corsages were pink rose buds and orchids. An entertaining program was given at the reception with Ruel Crandall acting as master of ceremonies. cere-monies. Mrs. Mary Bird played the wedding march and also entertained enter-tained with a rendition of Clair de Lune. The groom's mother sang, "Because," .accompanied by Mrs. followed by a violin solo by David Dalton, accompanied by Miss Alice Ericksen. Mr. and Mrs. Wickerd sang, "Tea for Two,' and Eli Tip-petts Tip-petts entertained with two readings;. read-ings;. Mr. Wickerd sang "One Alone." acompanied by Mrs. Wickerd. Wick-erd. Mrs. Lillian Binks gave a toast to the bride and Lynn Hanks to.asted the groom. Mrs. Wickerd sang 'Grandpa," as a concluding number. The beautiful display of wedding gifts was arranged by Mrs. Gwcn Bafter. Mrs. Melva Smith .and Mrs. Olive R. Miller. Serving were: Joy Fullmer, Doris Bradford, Mary Walker and Colleen Allen. Assisting Assist-ing with the gift receiving were Norma Rae Simkins and Gene Holt. . Mrs. Mary Martindale w.as in charge of the gift book and Mr. and Mrs. Guy Brown acted as host and hostess. The couple are making their home temporarily in Springville. Ronald. Second IjJS ward, performed the j double-rink' ceremony in the pres-! pres-! ence of immediate family members 1 and close friends of the couple. . Immediately after, a wedding din-; din-; ner af M' Cody Inn, honored the i newlyweds. Following' the wedding dinner, the couple greeted their many friends and relatives at a reception recep-tion in the Second ward church, which was especialy decorated for the occasion with floral bouquets of pink and white and tall white tapers. A pretty pink and white wedding cake, topped with a min-ature min-ature bride and groom added an interesting note to the decorative themne. For her wedding, the bride chose a gorgeous gown of ivory slipper satin entrain with a panel of lace and satin rvffles, lace yoke encircled en-circled with lace ruffle and long pointed sleeves, Her veil fell from a tiarra of seed pearls and she carried car-ried e. bouquet of pink rose-buds and baby orchids She carried also a silk" lace handkerchief, belonging belong-ing to the groom's grandmother and the table linen used was that which the' grandmother had at her wedding. For the ceremony, the bride was attended by her sister. Darlene Clark as maid of honor, while Reed H. Facer, was best man, For the reception, she chose her sister, Mrs. Shirley Bona of Spanish Span-ish Fork as matron of honor, Mrs. Barbara Clark of Salt Lake City; Darelne Clark, Helen Summers of Monticello and Marilyn Clegg were bridesmaids. They wore pastel for- |
