Show Miss Shirline Bird Is Married To " Claude Rominger; To Live in Provo Miss Shirlcne Bird, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Bird of Mapleton, became the bride of Claude Rominger, son of Mrs. Florence Flor-ence Collins of Provo, in a ceremony performed at the home of the bride's parents", last week. t For her wedding, the bride was attired in a pretty rust-colored afternoon dress with corsage of pink carnations. Her sister, Miss Doris Ann Bird, was her only attendant and wore a blue suit. Allen Peterson of Provo was best man. The ceremony was permorfed by Bishop Welby Warren of the Mapleton ward in the presence of a few immediate family -members. Later the newlyweds cut their beautiful wedding cake and refreshments re-freshments were served to guests assembled. The young couple left for a honeymoon trip to Boulder Dam and upon their return, will be at home in Provo. Honoring the bride, a personal shower was given by Miss RaVae and Marjean Allen at their home in Mapleton. Games and luncheon lunch-eon were features of entertainment and the guest of honor received many lovely gifts. i |
