BLACKWELL, the former Miss Darlene Beardall, married in Salt Lake Temple on November 15. Darlene Beardall takes marriage vows with J. R. Blackwell Nov. 15 Julie Christensen and Karen Jackman. A beautifully decorated wedding wed-ding cake, 2-tiered with yellow rosebuds and tiny white doves was an attractive part of the decorations. The couple honeymooned at Las Vegas, Zion National Park, Glen Canyon and Bryce Canyon. Miss Darlene Beardall, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ross Beardall of this city, changed her name to Mrs. Jess R. Blackwell in Salt Lake LDS Temple ceremonies, November 15. Her husband is from Providence, Prov-idence, Kentucky a son of Mr. and Mrs. Jess R. Blackwell Both the bride and groom have been employed for a number num-ber of years in Layton and are now at home in that city, at 302 No. Dixie Street. Following the temple marriage, mar-riage, the new Mr. and Mrs. Blackwell were honored at a wedding reception in the Murray Mur-ray Tenth Ward. The bride chose a lovely original or-iginal gown of pure silk-over-tafetta wedding gown. The bodice bo-dice was trimmed with band-clipped band-clipped Alecon lace and Ale-con Ale-con lace motifs accented with irridescent sequins, also trimmed the full floor-length skirt. Her veil of illusion flowed from a crown of Bor-ealis Bor-ealis crystals. She carried a beautiful bridal brid-al bouquet of Americanna roses ros-es surrounded by white carnations. carna-tions. Attending the bride was her sister, Sharon Beardall, maid of honor; Lynda Blackwell, bridesmaid; and Diane Turner, junior bridesmaid. They were attired in street-length gowns in pastel shades and their flowers flow-ers were large white mums in colonial holders. Golden D. Johnson was best man to the groom. Parents of the bride were also al-so in the receiving line, Mrs. Beardall wearing fushia wool with white carnation corsage. I Greeting guests at the door ! were Nilan R.
