Show i , ! ! ! i i i r j i . ii i J Mr. and Mrs. E. V. Crandall, well-known Springville couple, who noted the golden anniversary of the marriage Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. E. V. Crandall note golden wedding with family E. V. (Vern) and Sylvia Crandall, " Tuesday, celebrated their Golden Wedding anniversary anniver-sary with a family dinner party par-ty in the evening at the Royal Roy-al Inn, at Provo. Guests included their sons and daughter and their wives but for a number of years he has engaged in ranching and the cattle and sheep industry, being in partnership with his sons, Ruel and Lamar in the operation of ranches in Hobble Hob-ble Creek and at Keetly, near Heber. Mrs. Crandall is a native of Spanish Fork spending her early life in that community. She has taken active part in church work both in her ward and in the. stake. She served in the presidency of the ward Primary and was on the stake board of both Primary and Relief Re-lief Society. They were married in the Salt Lake Temple, Dec. 11, 1912 and have made their home for a number of years at and husbands, Mr. and Mrs. Bliss H. Crandall of Provo; Mr. and Mrs. Lenard R. (Hor-tense) (Hor-tense) Harward, -Mr. and Mrs. Waldo (Elaine) Jackson, Mr. and Mrs. Ruel E. Crandall, Mr. and Mrs. Lamar V. Crandall, all of Springville and Mr. and Mrs. Niel (Loeen) Whiting of Mapleton. Another daughter and son-in-law, Dr. and Mrs. Wm. R. Martin (Carma) of Baltimore, Md., were unable to attend. The Crandalls also have 28 grandchildren and one great grandchild. ' Mr. Crandall was born in Franklin, Idaho, but has spent the greater portion of his life in Springville, where he has been active in church and community com-munity affairs. He is presently building chairman for the First-Twelfth ward church and holds the position of High Priest. He was previously secretary sec-retary of the High Priests Quorum. In years past, he was interested in construction work 986 South Main Street. In celebration of the wedding wed-ding date, brothers and sisters sis-ters of Mr. and Mrs. Crandall living in Springville and nearby near-by communities and a few neighbors and close friends dropped in to visit with them Sunday at their home.
