Greeting guests at the doo: were Mr. and Mrs. Rolam Oldroyd and Mr. and Mrs Max Thorn. Mrs. Jimmy Wis-combe Wis-combe and Karen Haymond were at the guest register. Arranging gifts were Mrs Neva Hutchings, Mrs. Linda Hutchings, Marlene Warrei Lovely Linda Pyper, daughter daugh-ter of Mr. . and Mrs. Glen Pyper, Py-per, became the bride . of John Gill, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bert Gill of this city in rites performed per-formed August 25, in the Salt Lake Temple. President EIRay Christiansen officiated. The following evening, a reception re-ception in Kolob Stake House honored the couple. Mrs. Ray Marshall, sister of the bride, was matron of honor hon-or and LuDean Pyper, Joan Gill, Karen Gill, Susan Gill, Karen Oldroyd, Linda Houser, Lona Lee Child, Erlene Child and Sherry Lynn Pyper were bridesmaids. The bride was charmingly attired in white chantilly lace over tulle panels of satin with a graceful scalloped neckline trimmed with seed-pearls. The full skirt fell into a chapel train and her veil of illusion cascaded from a crown of pearls. She carried a bouquet of tiny baby orchids centered with a large orchid. The attendants wore lavender laven-der and white checks accented Mrs. John Gill, the former Linda Pyper married in the Salt Lake Temple, will make home in Provo. |
