Services held on coast for former resident Funeral services were held in the LDS Ward Chapel at Seal Beach, Calif. Wednesday, for Glenn L. Dallin, 71, a former form-er well-known resident of Springville, who died Sunday, June 4 of a heart ailment, at a hospital in Long Beach. The Dallins had scheduled observance ob-servance of their Golden Wedding Wed-ding anniversary on Sunday and the Herald had published a story and picture of them two weeks previous. Mr. Dallin was born in Springville Sept. 24, 1895, a son of George and Julia Lowe Dallin. He spent his earlier life in Springville, attending school here and also served on the city council. He owned and operated food markets in Long Beach for a number of years before his retirement re-tirement in 1955. They had traveled extensively since that time. He had served as bishop of the Long Beach LDS Ward and was a member of the high council many years. He married Elizabeth Jolley, June 1, 1917, in Salt Lake City. Surviving besides his wife, are a son and two daughters, Leon Dallin, Seal Beach, Calif.; Mrs. Wayne O. (Delphia) Hib-bard, Hib-bard, Chicago, 111.; Mrs. Denice Mclntire, Salt Lake City; six grandchildren and two brothers, Bertrum and Reed Dallin both of Springville.
