Show FUNERAL HELD MONDAY FOR P. J. TAMIETTI Funeral services for Paul John Tamietti, 52, who died Wednesday Wednes-day evening at the Veterans' hospital, hos-pital, Salt Lake City, were conducted con-ducted Monday afternoon in the First ward chapel, under direction direc-tion of the bishopric. Military services at which the American Legion and the Elks also took part, were conducted in connection with burial at the American Fork City cemetery, under un-der direction of Claudin Funeral Home. Mr. Tamietti was born in Dead-wood, Dead-wood, South Dakota, on June 6, 1894, a son of Paul and Amelia Summers Tamietti. He had worked as foreman for the Utah Sand and Gravel company in Salt Lake City for the past four years. He was a veteran, of World War I, and a member of Elks BPOE No. 711 of Eureka. ,. He married Flora Owen at Rupert, Ru-pert, Idaho, April 4, 1925. The family lived at Dividend for a number num-ber of years before moving to Springville in 1937. He is survided by his widow and eight sons and daughters, Mary Tamietti, Salt Lake City; Martin Dale Tamietti with the U. S. Army Anita, Pauline, Betty Lou, LaRue, Millie Rose and Ray David Tamietti, Tami-etti, Springville; also a sister, Mrs. Stella Hallett, Santiquin. |
