Show 'SERVICES HELD IN 2ND WARD FOR WE T. GORE Funral services were conducted Tuesday afternoon in the Second ward chapel, for William Thomas Gore, who died Friday afternoon at a local cafe. Burial was in the Evergreen cemetery, under direction of Quist Funeral Hom. Mr. Gore was born in Dawson, Ga., May 30, 1885, a son of John M. and Sally Nixon Gore. He has resided in Springville for the past 20 years. For a number of years he was manager of the local liquor agency and later operated a grocery groc-ery store. He married Dolly Mitchell in Dawson in 1903 and they later went to the Mesa, Ariz., temple. She died in Springville in 1942. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Louise Allred, Provo; three brothers, A. B. Gore, Springville; A. H. Gore, Provo: J. M. Gore, Camilla, Ga.; four grandchildren and one great grandchild. |
