Show FUNERAL HELD FOR FORMER LOCAL RESIDENT Funeral services were conducted in the Fourth ward chapel Tuesday afternoon for George Edward Jackson, Jack-son, 39, of Soldier Summit, who died Saturday in a Provo hospital following a lingering illness. Burial was in the Evergreen cemetery under the direction of the A. Y. Wheeler & Son mortuary. mor-tuary. Mr. Jackson was born at Lehi, January 22, 1910, a son of Charles and Mae Wheeler Jackson. He lived in Springville for a short time during dur-ing his- earlier life. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Mary E. Jackson, of Soldier Summit; three children, Ila Mae, Ileen and George Jackson, Jr.; five step-children; also a sister and three brothers, Mrs. Melba Cooley of Parkland, Wash.; Ferris Jackson, Jack-son, Soldier Summit; Ray Jackson, Jack-son, Salt Lake City, and Lynn Averett of Springville; also five half-brothers and sisters. |
