Show ALEATHA CLARK SERVICES HELD Services for Mrs. Aleatha Bar-nett Bar-nett Clark, 63, wife of J. H. Clark who died Friday night at the residence res-idence were conducted Tuesday at 1 p. m. in the Fourth ward chapel. Speakers were Seymour L. Men-denhall, Men-denhall, Claude G. Salisbury, and Bishop Leo Robertson. Bishop Robertson conducted the services. Musical numbers included solos, "Lay My Head Beneath a Rose," by Evelyn Boyer; " Just a Weary-in' Weary-in' For You," by Hannah Rowland; Row-land; a duet, "Whispering Hope," Evelyn Boyer and Marjorie Bird, and a violin solo by Phyllis Smart accompanied by her sister Maryn Johnson. The invocation was offered by Jesse H. Whiting, the benediction by Solon' A. Wood, and the dedicatory dedi-catory prayer was given by Albert G. Thorn. Mrs. Clark was born June 16, 187 6 in Missouri valley, Iowa, the daughter of Scott and Lavin J. Johnson Barnett. She was an active act-ive Relief society member, serving for 16 years as a teacher and magazine mag-azine agent. Surviving are her husband, nine sons and daughters, Louis and Ralph Clark, Springville; Mrs. Arthur Ar-thur Wiscomb, Roosevelt; Mrs. H. Nichols, Eugene, Oregon, Mrs. Sadie Sa-die Jewett, Watsonville, California, Cali-fornia, Mrs. Florence Pace, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Sie Jones, Astoria As-toria Oregon; Mrs. Murray Peay and Mrs. Milan Scott, Provo; five sisters. Mrs. Belle Noaks, Mrs. Ralph Beard, Salt Lake City; Mrs. A. G. Thorn, Mrs. E. D. Payne, Springville; Mrs. Chester Johnson, Richfield, Idaho; 15 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Burial was in the Evergreen cemetery under the direction of the A. Y. Wheeler Mortuary. |
