Show Ladies Literary Club At Interesting Program Ladies Lieteray club members meeting with Mrs. Wm. L. Mrs. Sumsion touched on the segregation problem pro-blem and explained some of the contributions the negroes had made to the entertainment world as well as in other capacities. capac-ities. Margaret Schreiner, daughter of the hostess entertained with piano selections and also accompanied ac-companied her brother, Bruce, in vocal selections. The meeting was in charge of President Helen Anderson, who conducted business and announced announ-ced the convention Saturday, April 13 and the Art Tea on that date. Also the next meeting meet-ing to be in the form of an art tour with meeting later at the home of Mrs. Eugene Johnson John-son for election of officers. |
