Show HEATH CALLS 15. E.A. BRYAN Funeral services for Mrs. Emma A Bryan, prominent church" worker work-er of this community, who died suddenly Monday evening, of heart disease at her home East Third South stret, will be held Friday at 1:30 p. m. in the First atd chapel. Burial will be in the City cemetery. Friends may call at the home prior to the services. Born in Springville, October 16. 1858, Mrs. Bryan has lived here always with the exception of a few years spent in Nebraska Nebras-ka during her late married life. She was a daughter of John Hubbard and Susan Childs Noakes farly Springville pioneers. Mrs. Bryan was the second President of the First ward Re-hef Re-hef society after its organization. She also served as ward Primary President. She work.V as Relief society teacher for nearly forty ."are and has assisted with considerable con-siderable other work in that organization. or-ganization. She was married to John Bryan in October 1876. Mr. Bryan died in 1924. 1 Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. R. o. Thorn, Benjamin; Mrs. w. A. Bird, Mrs. R. B. height, Mrs. G. D. Kennedy, of Springville and Mrs. Arch V. -ombs, of Hershey, ' Nebraska; !T grandchildren; 23 great-grand :hildren, also four brothers and iis'ers, Mrs. Alfred Weight, Wil-'am Wil-'am I. Noakes, Springville; David Noakes, Logan and Mrs. Polly M, Elmo, Utah. |
