Show FORMER LOCAL RESIDENT DIES A number of Springville relatives rela-tives and friends went to Salt Lake City to attend funeral services serv-ices for Mrs. Cora Allan Metz, who died at her home there, January 25. Services were in the Twenty-seventh L. D. S. ward and burial was in the Wasatch Lawn cemetery. Mrs. Metz was born in Springville, Spring-ville, September 7, 1882, a daughter daugh-ter of the late Joseph and Fannie Fan-nie Kindred Allan, she graduated from the Springville schools and later attended the B.Y.U. She taught school 13 years. She was the mother of triplets, trip-lets, two sons and a daughter, Elden, Elwood and Elva. and an older daughter. Marjorie, all of whom are living, together with her husband, Men Metz. She also leaves the following brothers and sisters: William J. and Ray B. Allan. Murray; Bird Allan, Salem; Mrs. E. D. Harris, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Mell Chase, Provo; Mrs. Lula Tipton, Glen and Ronald Allan, Springville. |
