Show DEATH CALLS YOUNG WOMAN . 1 Miss Helen Thclma Crandall, 21, daughter of Peter Wells and Ellen Tame Crandall. died Tuesday morning morn-ing at the family residence, 210 South Fourth East street. Death followed a two weeks' illness from pneumonia. Miss Crandnll, who has been residing re-siding in Salt Lake City, for the past two years was recently called by Bishop Clawson of the Eighteenth Eigh-teenth ward of Salt Lake, to fill a two years' home mission in Ensign stake. She was enjoying a brief va-vation va-vation with her parents before com mencing her missionary when she was stricken. Born in Springville, May le, iju the younug woman attended nj public schools and graduated fro,,, the L. D. S. seminary in 1928 ann the high school in 192D. The folio,! ing year she attended the B. Y and since that time had been work ing in Salt Lake. She represented the Gleaner ; in a public speaking contest lJ winter, winning first place in (j, Eighteenth ward and the Ensit, stake.
