Show Funeral rites in Provo for former resident Funeral services were held in Provo Saturday for Emma Nelson Fullmer Carter, 64, and former resident of Springville, who died Wednesday at the Utah Valley Hospital. Burial was in the Evergreen cemetery. ceme-tery. She was born March 6, 1896 in Castlegate, a daughter of Henry Joesier Nelson and Anna Kay Sorenson Nelson. She maried Ralph Fullmer, May 9, 1912. The mariage was later solemnized in the Manti Temple. Tem-ple. He died Feb. 26, 1943. She married Ray L. Carter in 1945. She was a member of the LDS Church and had been active in Relief Society Wnrk. She is survived by her husband; hus-band; four sons and 10 daughters dau-ghters : Clay Fullmer of Boise, Idaho, Mrs. Tom (Maxine) Hickman of Orem; Mrs. Charles (Monta) Reid of Springville; Mrs. William (Erma) Nelson of Provo; Mrs. Joe (Lena) Peterson of Magna; Mrs. Curtis (Fay) Chipman of American Fork; Mrs. Elwood (Shirley) Lehr of Allentown, Pa.; Mrs. Melvin (Donna) Hammatt of Great Falls, Mont.; Mrs. John (Larraine) Brown of Orem; Ralph Fullmer of Provo; Verl Fullmer of American Fork, Mrs. Merton (Connie) Harward of Santaquin; Mrs. Jack (Jea-nine) (Jea-nine) Leftwich of Provo and Mark Fullmer o Provo; three step-sons, Norval Carter, Ersil and Wesley Carter; 59 grandchildren; grand-children; 17 great grandchildren; grandchild-ren; one brother and three sisters, sis-ters, Mrs. Jack (Clara) Brown, Mrs. Charles (Laura) Ford, Mrs. Royal (Ida) Larsen, all of Magna, and Lawrence Nelson of Fullerton, Calif. |
