Show Funeral Friday, 5th Ward, for Mrs. Chadwick Funeral services will be held in the Springville Stake House Saturday at 2 p.m., for Mrs. Mary Emma Nelson Chadwick, Chad-wick, 621 Bulyley Ave., who died Tuesday following a stroke, at the home of a daughter Mrs. Theo Clark of Richfield where she had gone last Sunday. The Fifth ward bishopric will be in charge. Friends may call at the Berg Mortuary in Springville Friday evening from 7 to 9 p.m., and Saturday before the services. Burial will be in the Spanish Fork cemetery. Mrs. Chadwick was born in Spanish Fork March 6, 1884, a daughter of Andrew V. and Harriet Hales Nelson and spent her early life in that city. Sh was married to T. H. Chadwick Dec. 17, 1902 in the Salt Lake temple. They were later separated. She has been active in LDS church work especially in Relief Re-lief Society and has done considerable con-siderable temple work. She was also a member of the DUP and has made her home in this city the past 15 years. Surviving are seven sons and daughters: Wells N. Chadwick, Mrs. Ruth E. Griffith and James G. Chadwick all of Springville; Thomas H. of Sa-lina; Sa-lina; Mrs. Hendall (Isabel) Carr, Helper; Max A. of Price and Mrs. Theo (Beulah) Clark of Richfield. There are also 31 grandchildren and 39 great grandchildren; five brothers and sisters, Andrew V. Nelson, Frank Nelson, Mrs., James (Ef-fie) (Ef-fie) Sorensen, Mrs. Hazel Thomas, Tho-mas, Mrs. Josephine T. Sabon all of Spanish Fork. |
