Show : SPRINGVILLE I WOMAN LAID AT FINAL REST Funeral services for Mis. Minerva Min-erva J. Hill, wire of John Hill of Springville, who died Friday at the family r esidence following a lingering linger-ing illness were held Sunday afternoon after-noon at the Third ward chapel. Charles Eoyer of the bishopric presided. pre-sided. The speakers were Bishop Peter Nielson. Eishop R. L. Mendenhall of Mapleton, and President G. R. Maycock of Kolob stake. Musical selections were rendered by Elmo Coffman who sang two solos; Frhnk Bjarnson, accompanied accom-panied by Orman Weight on the violin, sang one number; Miss Helen Palfreyman rendered a vocal solo and Mr. and Mrs. Guy Brown sang a duet. The invocation was offered by J. A. Harkr, the benediction was offered by M. W. Bird and Patriarch Patri-arch O. B. Huntington dedicated the grave at the Evergreen cemetery. ceme-tery. Mrs. Hill was born in Springville, Spring-ville, December 6, 1S81, the daughter daugh-ter of Willis K. and Sarah Mendenhall Menden-hall Johnson. She had lived in Springville all of her life, and was m active member of the L. D. S. church. She had held a number of prominent positions in the various auxiliary organizations of the Third ward. Surviving are her husband and father, three children, Sarah, Kel-sey Kel-sey and Dorothy Hill, and the following fol-lowing brothers and sisters: Willis K. Johnson, Jr., Richard and -ieorge Johnson, and Miss Edna Johnson, Springville; Chester S: Johnson, Salt Lake. |
