Show Thursday evening. Luncheon was served early at small tables, fol-lowed fol-lowed by a program in which Mrs. i Nola Palfreyman gave a paper on "Thanksgiving." Social conversation conversa-tion and sewing were also enjoyed. Attending were nine club members mem-bers and Mrs. Maurine Haymond, Mrs. Dolly Smith, and Grace Hol-ley, Hol-ley, special guests. The next club meeting will be held on Thursday, November 27, at the home of Mrs. Mildred Larsen. DOROTHY BARRON GAVE A PARTY SATURDAY NIGHT for a number of friends on the occasion oc-casion of her eighteeneth birthday. Progressive "Neighbor" was the feature of entertainment with each guest receiving a prize. From small tables a delicious luncheon was served to the following: follow-ing: Theo Childs, Bernice Chader, Melba Witney, Eetty Blanchard, Elaree Leslie, Betty Cranmer, Louise Lou-ise Long, Carol Cherrington, Venice Ven-ice Whiting, Eva Jane Smith, lone Lewis, and the hostess, who was presented with a lovely birthday gift from the group. MRS. HARRISON CONOVER WILL BE HOSTESS to members of the Home Culture club at her home on Friday evening, eve-ning, beginning at 7 o'clock. A book review by Mrs. Blanche Beal will feature the program. BIRTHS . . . Mr. and Mrs. William Whitehead of Mapleton announce the birth of a son, November 10, at their home. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Straw are the proud parents of a baby daughter, daugh-ter, born Tuesday, November 4, at Billings, Mont. DELPHIANS WILL MEET NEXT WEDNESDAY at 2 p. m., at Valley Tavern, where the afternoon discussion will be conducted by Mrs. Ada B. Straw. Scheduled to take part are: Mrs. George Nelson, Mrs. F. V. Martin, Mrs. J. W. Grant, Mrs. W. W. Clyde, Mrs. George A. Anderson, and Mrs. Earl Condie. MRS. FLOSS CATES WAS CLUB HOSTESS on Thursday to members of the Fidelity club. Bridge was the diversion di-version with prizes going to Mrs. Rose Roylance, Mrs. Faye Cranmer, Cran-mer, and Mrs. Marjorie Davis. Others present were Mrs. Bernice Ber-nice Cranmer, a guest, Mrs." Olive Miller, Mrs. Flora Maiben, Mrs. Mary Clegg, and Mrs. Ann Johnson. John-son. EI FAN BEE CLUB MEMBERS WERE GUESTS of Mrs. Reva Roylance at her home ABOUT 200 PEOPLE ATTENDED A BANQUET in the Second ward Monday evening, eve-ning, sponsored by the ward missionary mis-sionary committee for the benefit of the missionary fund. It is an annual an-nual affair and practically every auxiliary organization cooperates to make it a social and financial success. Ernest A. Strong, a member of the committee, was master of ceremonies, cere-monies, and W. W. Brockbank was toastmaster. In connection with the banquet, a delightful program consisting of community singing, stunts, toasts and other numbers were enjoyed. Clifford Crandall, Mrs. Mae Fletcher and Mrs. Minerva Min-erva Jessee are other members of the missionary committee. S. T. CLUB MEMBERS WERE GUESTS ON THURSDAY evening at the home of Mrs. J. W. Grant. Twelve club members were in attendance. The group enjoyed contract bridge with high score prize going to Mrs. Hugh Baxter. Preceding the games, a delicious luncheon was served by the hostess. At the next club meeting, Mrs. Thelma Clark will be hostess.
