Show Mrs. oAnn CD. Binks To Observe 85th Birthday Mrs. Ann D. Binks, widow of Thomas Binks, will be eighty-five years old on Saturday. Due to her health, no special observance is planned for the occasion. She was born in Springville, November No-vember 15, 1856, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Brammall, and lived almost her entire life in this city, witnessing its development develop-ment from a few log cabins to its present size. With Mr. Binks, she celebrated her 61st wedding anniversary last February. He died several months ago. She is the mother of nine sons and daughters, with five living, John Binks of Salt Lake City, May and Charles Binks and Mrs. Emma Rowland of Springville, and Frank Binks of Ogden; also nine grandchildren grand-children and five great-grandchildren. $ " CECELIA MAYCOCK HAD A PARTY FOR FRIENDS on the occasion of her eighteenth birthday on Saturday evening at her home. The group enjoyed a delicious de-licious dinner and social conversation conversa-tion and presented the guest of honor with a lovely gift. Present were Luella Huntington, Louise Clyde, Helen Christensen, Lucille Oakley, Marjorie Simkins, Wilna Brown, and the hostess. THE HAFEN-DAIXIN CLUB MET TUESDAY at the art building, where Glen illustraton on sketching. He also Turner gave an interesting talk and sketched one of the class members and later presented her with the picture. A representative group of club members attended. |
