Show Local Kiwanis Club To Observe Birthday With Party Tonight Dr. J. K. Broaddus, noted explorer ex-plorer of Utah and the southwestern south-western states, will be the principal prin-cipal guest speaker at a meeting meet-ing of the Kiwanis club Thursday, Thurs-day, at 7 p. m at Memorial hall. Dr. Broaddus has had numerous and varied experiences in his explorations and his talks arc very much worth while. The occasion is in observance also of the seventeenth anniversary anniver-sary of the organization of the local club and the meeting will take on the spirit of a birthday anniversary celebration. The Kiwanis Ki-wanis ladies will be special guests on this date. D. B. Welch will act as toastmaster with President Presi-dent F. C. Packard in charge. The meeting last week featured a talk by Dr. L. D. Pfouts ot Payson, and was in commemoration commemora-tion of Scout week. Several scouts cntertnined with musical numbers. num-bers. M. w. Bird was toastmaster. |
