Show Program on color held for Alpha Beta Club Fascinating and informative was the program on color given giv-en by Mrs. Martin Conover to members of the Alpha Beta Club held at the home of Mrs. Milton Harrison. Mrs. Conover demonstrated how each color has a significance signifi-cance and what effect it has cn our lives. Next to speech, color is the most important form of self expression. Illustrations Illus-trations were also shown how color makes photographs come alive. "How fortunate we are the world was created in color," col-or," Mrs. Conover stated. A business session was conducted con-ducted by President Mrs. Sheldon Shel-don Nielson. A legislative report re-port on the mechanics of budgeting bud-geting was given by Mrs. Earl Condie. Pledge of allegiance was led by Mrs. William Witney Wit-ney and the club collect, by Mrs. Myron Childs. Mrs. Jane Calder, daughter of the hostess played three piano pi-ano selections. Other guests present included Mrs. Berton G. Groesbeck, Mrs. Nathan Hales, Mrs. Rhoda G. Hales. Refreshments were served by the hostess, assisted by her daughter. The next meeting will be Friday at the home of Mrs. Earl Goats, beginning at 2:30 p.m. |
