Show Bill Staheli Pat Murdock Junior Hiah 'Citizens of the Week' He is an A student and a member of the ninth grade class. Bill is very will liked and respected by both faculty members and students alike. Two Springville Junior High students were chosen to be the "Citizens of the Week" for the week February 17-21. They are Pat Murdock and Bill Staheli. Pat Murdock Pat is a daughter of Mr. and Mis. Edward D. M'irdock of Springville. She was born June 5, 1955 and has two brothers and one sister. She is active in the LDS Church and is a Second-year Beehive Girl in the MIA organization. Among her varied interests are swimming, camping, reading, cook ing, drawing, and sports of all kinds, specially football, soft-ball, soft-ball, and basketball. She is mu- i sically talented. She has played the piano for five years. Pat likes school very much. She especially es-pecially enjoys her math and English classes. She is an A student and in the eighth grade. Pat is respected and well liked by both faculty members and students alike. Bill Staheli Bill is a son of Mr. and Mrs. William Staheli of Springville. He was born January 10, 1954. He is the oldest of the five children in his family. Bill is a member of the LDS Church In which he holds positions of Junior Scoutmastev in his Scout troop, and secretary of the teacher's quorum. Among his many interests are hunting horseback riding, farming, football, foot-ball, wrestling, track and field, baseball, and basketball. He has been very outstanding in sports. He played guard and middle linebacker on Johnson Tire Team in the Junior Football League this fall. In baseball he went to the Little League World Series (as catcher and left lielder) held in Santa Monica, Mon-ica, California. Last year he was on the eighth grade basketball bas-ketball Team and this year he is on the ninth grade basketball basket-ball team. Bill is very musically musical-ly talented, also. He plays the trumpet, harmonica and the guitar. Bill finds school very enjoyable. His favorite subjects are physical education, agriculture, agricul-ture, industrial arts and science. |
