The district Arts specialists spent an hour every Thursday teaching different groups of students about art, music, dance and drama from the Renaissance historical period in Europe. The presentation included singing and playing recorders, sword dances, an art display, and an adaptation of Shakespeare's play "A Midsummer Night's Dream." Students can listen to how fluent they are, if they're taking pauses at the right time, and if they're saying words correctly. Many children will improve their reading using these phones. Pictured here is Derek with Cody Thompson and Jacie Wilkinson. Thanks for helping the Grizzlies! Soar high, Derek Petross!
