Peter and his committee ran the food bank, helped more than 50 students with legal information, laid the foundation for a housing arbitration board as well as publishing a brochure to guide new students in their rights and responsibilities as renters. Peter also worked with Cal Stroud in the placement office to set up the Graduate Interview Program mflgmammmcmngwmwhmcmmmrsmsm Witkop. Marcus lucuig-Special Projects: Marcus produced the most complete and accurate Student Directory in record time. He also coordinated the Student Exchange Program and worked with the administration and plant operations to obtain funding for new bike racks on campus as well as other significant campus improvement projects. Sue Taylor-Non-traditional Representative: Sue set up weekly meetings for non-traditional students and worked to meet ‘their special needs. She sponsored services and quarterly activities spedifically for the non-traditional students on campus. Sue also published newsletters and obtained book scholarships for non-traditional students. Bart Smith-Relations: Bart worked behind the scenes on projects to buid good refations with administrators, student leaders from other schools, and state and community leaders. He sponsored a state-wide student leaders retreat at SUU, meet the candidates for city coundil forum, office correspondence, and other programs. STUDENT ACTIVITIES BOARD Brad Bishop-Activities V.P.: Bad worked as Sharwan Smith's assistant and took over her duties when she left to serve a mission in Argentina. He has done a great job organizing and camrying out the various activities through the student activities board. Lance FunkActivities/United Arts Director: Under lance’s direction the ‘Starfight Clubs’ and other campus programs and activities have reached an all-time level of success and are the most successful activities on campus. Craig Hansen worked as Lance’s assistant. Lisa Pearce-Clubs & Organizations Director: Lisa had the task of coordinating the many campus organizations. She also worked to revise the structure and constitution to make the dubs & organizations more effective and influential on campus. Danny lewis-Intramurals & Open Rec. Director: Danny did a great job organizing and directing the intramurals program. Shane Lamb is his assistant. Mindy Benson-Spirit Director: Mindy worked programs to increase spirit on campus and at athletic events. She also organized the Mr. SUU pageant as well as other activities. Jason Michelrinter-Greek Council Director: Jason is the president of the Greek Jeff Fisher-Pride Coordinator: This job involved programs to increase student and community pride in SUU. Jeff worked with University Orientation, school flags, yearbook, SUU T-shirts for students and other activities. Tobyn DeGraw-Publicity Director: Tobyn organized one of the largest SUUSA committees flsmmmmm@mmmmmdflmmgfiws and advertising events and activities on campus. Amy Toronto worked as his assistant. SENATE w V.P.: Wil has done an outstanding job as president of the SUUSA Senate and a valuable contributor to Student Govemment. They did a great job keeping things under control and everyone in line. Darren Adair & Andy Hyer-Controllers: Darren and Andy are responsible for keeping track of SUUSA funds. They also created a new system to keep better track of student money in the improved SUUSA accounting system. Rachelle Tracy-HomecomingMiss SUU Chair: Rachelle did an incredible job organizing and carrying out the 1991-92 Homecoming and Miss SUU.
