Evidence was found of blunt force injury to his head but investigators will wait for the results of an autopsy before making any conclusions. If the man was murdered it would be the sixth murder in the state since Jan. 1. By this time last year 12 people had already been murdered statewide. MAN SENTENCED TO UP TO LIFE FOR KIDNAP, RAPE: Friday, a Salt Lake City man went to prison for up to life for kidnapping, raping and stabbing a 13year-old girl, then leaving her coast of Georgia Friday and Saturday. The first accident involved a private helicopter carrying two people working for the Marine Corps that crashed Friday evening into the ocean 35 miles east of Brunswick, Georgia. Three helicopters were dispatched to rescue those in the first crash. A Coast Guard cutter rescued one survivor about an hour after the crash, who was taken by helicopter to Savannah Memorial Hospital where the person did not survive. Two other rescue units searched the area for the second person overnight. Saturday morning, a Marine Corps helicopter carrying five searchers crashed 30 miles east of Brunswick. Rescuers recovered four of the five individuals and continued to search for the fifth person Sunday. The body of the second person in Friday night’s crash was discovered Saturday morning.
