Cannon said students should apply now for the next school year to avoid delay in the receipt of financial aid. A copy of your parents tax return (IRS 1040, 1040 A or 1040EZ) must be submitted with your application for validation by purposes. If youre federal criteria, you must submit a copy of your own and your spouses federal tax return. He said the program will be funded next year, but there will be some decrease in the number of availible jobs. Pell Grants may be funded close levels and the availibility to the 1982-8of NDSL loans and any other smaller grant programs will be reduced slightly. Canon said Guaranteed Student Loans from banks should be available on the same basis as 1982-8up to a maximum of $2,500 a year. But, he said even this amount is dependent on need. Returning students will be notified within a short time after the college receives notification of federal funding, said Cannon. If it appears that notification from the government will be nearly as late as it was last year, students will receive an unofficial award at the earliest possible date, he added. work-stud- y 3 I i u t Looking for that special place to eat after commencement?
