Show SOUTHERN UTAH NEWS WEDNESDAY OCTOBER , 1896 Community Increase of wildlife officers for elk hunt Weight loss management seminar and lecture This year elk hunters on the Fish Lake spike only' unit will see an increase in the number of wildlife officers on patrol. Conservation officer Fred Pannunzio said, The Fish Lake has been a spike only unit, during the general season, for many years now. We are seeing the number of mature bulls taken rise as their numbers increase. The time has come for us to do something to reverse this trend. Officers from many parts of the state will gather in the Fish Lake area to assist in this effort. Hunters can expect to be checked more than once if they are hunting in this unit. A spike bull is defined as a bull elk that has at least one antler having no branching above the ears. Branched means a projection on an antler longer than me inch, measured from its base to its tip. All hunters are encouraged to be sure of their target before they shoot. BLM Continued from Page 3 which it was developed and is being conducted. The BLM also is continuing to use a definition of what qualifies as a road which is in direct contradiction to the specific provisions of federal law and court decisions, thereby allowing the BLM to claim that some areas meet the Wilderness Acts roadless requirement when, in reality, they do not. In addition, the analysis notes that the effort violates a number of commitments the Secretary made to the Utah Congressional Delegation on how it would be With all these problems and violations of law, it is clear that Junior Varsity running back Matt McFadden 048 runs around left end on his effort is so badly way to a 21 yard touchdown gallop. the flawed that even this early in North Sevier started their final the process we can categorically of results drive from their own 35 with 1: 1 1 the validity any reject it yields, Walsh said.
