Wife of the late William Parker, she was the mother of 12 children, nine whom survive her. Mrs. Parker passed away July 2nd at Camp Verde, Arizona at the home of her son. W'llson. She was 71 years ef age. Surviving her are three daughters and six sons, Ruby Welsh of Logan, Utah; Hartley Parker, Soringville, Utah: Andrew Parker. Arizona; Springerville,' Knell Parker, Fredonia; Bish Parker, Flagstaff; Wilson Parker, Camp Verde; Jack Parker, Cottonwood; Lucille Fraley. Oxnard, California and Jean Perkins of Winslow; also 41 grandchildren, one brother, two sisters. Maggie Jackson and Minnie Stevens. Funeral services were held in he Fredonia Ward Chapel with Bishnn Orvil Bushman officiat-'ng- . The Singing Mothers sang Invocation with Bishop LaVier Tait giving the opening prayer. Estelia Jackson gave sentiments followed by a duet, Vieneese Refrain by Julia Young and Ramona Chamberlain: a talk was given by Z. Ray Judd followed by a song by IeRoy Judd, That Wonderful Mother of Mine"; Clifton Young was a speaker; closing song by the singing mothers, "I Know Tliat My Redeemer Lives; prayer by Bishop Woodrow Johnson. The graveside dedicatory prayer was given by Ed Lamb. Interment was in the Fredonia Cemetery. Pall Bearers were Pete Johnson, Melvin Parker, Bilk Parker, Andrew Stevens, Barney Stevens, and Monte Griffiths. Mrs. Parker was well known tn Fredonia for her beautiful crochet and knitted articles. She held office as a Relief Society teacher for 17 years, as well as working in the Primary and other church activities.
