Show Social SOUTHERN UTAH NEWS WEDNESDAY DECEMBER 13, 2000 Handels Messiah, a holiday favorite The holiday presentation of Handels oratorio Messiah, by the Community Chorus and the Symphony of the Canyons, will be this Sunday, December 17 at the Kanab High at School auditorium 7 p.m. This is the 17th consecutive year the chorus and symphony have combined for what has become an annual Christmas tradition. The oratorio is Old Testament and New Testament scriptures set to beautiful music, that ClarksonBosler to wed Timothy Scott Clarkson, son of Dale and Patsy Clarkson of Kanab, Utah and Rebecca Marlene Bosler, daughter ofBruce and Kim Boslerof Vacaville, California will be sealed for Time and All Eternity on Friday, December 15, 2000 in the Salt Lake Temple. They will be honored that evening at a Wedding Reception from 8 p.m. at 1234 Aspen Ave. in Provo, Utah at the home of the brides grandparents. The following evening, Saturday, December 16, 2000 the newly married couple will receive guests at a Reception from 6--8 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Express, 815 E. HWY 89 in Kanab, Utah. Their parents and families invite friends and neighbors to attend these receptions. The couple is currently studying at Brigham Young University where they will continue their educations. Timothy is working toward a B.S. degree in is studying Business Management while his beautiful bride-to-b- e will live YU on B much the and support and help Hygiene. They campus enjoy from family and friends in the area. Tim sewed as a missionary, following graduation from Kanab High School in May of 1997, in the Florida, Ft. Lauderdale, Spanish-speakin- g mission, for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Da- y Saints. Upon his return he spent a semester at BYU before enjoying a summer sales job in Nothem California 6-- Pre-Dent- al where he met Rebecca. While attending Kanab High School, Timothy was an outstanding student and athlete, lettering in four different sports. He is remembered for his dedication and hard work in and out of the classroom. He was selected by coaches and staff as the male athlete of die year his senior year while earning Valedictorian Honors, graduating first in the class of97. Tim earned the Eagle Rank in Scouting, Duty to God Award in church, and honors in the Academic he lettered in. Most of all he Council on the service and duties as Captain of die Seminary enjoyed several Wresding Team, receiving Outstanding Wrestier Awards and for State the ding Championship. Rebecca, bom in Los Angeles, California, is die oldest of six children. She loves her family and spends as much dme as possible with them singing and just being together. Bee received her Young Womanhood Award after graduating High School. She is a hard worker and loves to achieve while being very active in the L. D.S. church, senring in many leadership positions. The Boslers moved to Vacaville California where Rebecca grew up. She graduated from Will C. Wood High School with High Honors. She was a very well rounded student participating on the Ballet Team and Sylvan Singers (W.H.S. Honor Choir) touring California and Canada. She graduated early to e work as a Dental Assistant in her fathers office in order to pay for All-Sta- te full-tim- school.
