Agents can better route individuals here, tour operators can adjust next years itinerary to use our services, and writers have inspiration and material for accurate articles. Shows Booth advertising is done by TC personnel. Shows included the Boat & RV show in Phoenix, a travel show in San Diego and one in Oregon, Huddle West in Calgary, and the National Tour Association show. Over 50 inquiries have been received from NTA members. Brochures The new revised Kane County brochures are distributed at all shows. The revised Group Tour Marketing packet is beingmailed. This compares to 52 last year, with the largest drop in the structure fire category. We had an estimated fire loss of $10,200 for the year compared to over $150,000 last year. A breakdown of calls shows brush and grass fires accounted for 15, structures 5, trash and rubbish 4, smoke scares 4, vehicle accidents 2, chemical leak 1, and miscellaneous 2. A total of 13, or 40 percent, of the calls were in the county outside city limits. Kanab firemen continue to be d a group, with a total of357 hours spent in special training in addition to the two to three hours each Tuesday night.
