Elections will be held during the UEA convention in October. Doyle K. Swallow, superintendent of Kane School District, is a candidate for the Executive Committee, according to an article in the UEA magazine. Mr. Swallow is a graduate of BYU and has an M.S. degree from the University of Utah. He began his teaching career in High School in Duchesne District. He moved from there to be principal of the Tabiona Elementary and High School anl then to principal of the Elementary School. In 1959 he went to Guam inwhere he was a part-tim- e structor at the College of Guam, of an elementary principal school, and later the principal of a junior high school. In 1963 he came back to the United States to accept his present position. Mr. Swallow has held the position of president and of the Duchesne County Education Association and was a member of the UEA Agenda and Reviewing Committee. All of the several families will be going to Sacramento, Calif, to attend the wedding of Marilee Walton and Capt. Peter White. Marilee, the daughter of Caroline Lippencott is the oldest grandduaghter of Madge and Lester. Mr. White is the son of Rear Admiral and Mrs. White of San Francisco. The wedding will occur June 22. Marilee graduated from Sacramento College and served with the Peace Corps in Africa.
