A very enjoyable day was had and plans were made for an adult party the latter pait ol of Ixis Angeles. Reason for the gathering was the Tenth Annual Kanab Picnir in Los Angeles. The fust Sun day of June is a set date for this affair, and always look forward to it. At this year reunion there was a good crowd tat least 70) counting the children. Each received an engraved medal honoring the renowned educato. Mr. Carey is a son of Mrs. Mabel I. Carey, Las Vegas. He is married to the former Wandi Lynn Leavitt of Las Vegas. Mrs. Poulson is a sistei to Mrs. Brown. Lynn Riggs is home on fin lough. lie graduated from Officers Training School at Ft. Sill, Okla., and will go back to Camp Hood, Tex. The Richard Rileys have left Kanab to go to Pittsburg, Pa. Dr. Riley will he in school there for four years. The Bill Terrills have return1 fiom a two voc': vacation in Missouri. Mrs. Heaton is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lister Hallman, Cedar City. She is the wife of Steve Heaton, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Heaton, Kanab. She majored in education and sevred a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-daSaints.
