Reese and family are vacationing in California. Mr. and Mrs. Reo Heaton were in Salt Lake City and Idaho Falls on business and visiting, their daughter Klissa who had been visiting In Idaho returned home with them. Mr. and Mrs. Jay Heaton came home from Albuquerque with a new son. Wilma Adair daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ira H. Adair died Friday In the Kane County Hospital. Funeral services were held Monday at 1 1 a m. in the Order-vill- e Ward Chapel. Bishop John A. Reese conducted the services. Some of the out of town people here for the services were: Mr. and Mrs. Don Wagner and family, Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Heilsen and family, Homer Esp-liMr. and Mrs. Willard Jones, Wendell Brooksby, Mrs. Ras-co- e Tuft Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Johnson, Mrs. Marcellus Johnson, Mrs. Jack Hamblin, Mrs. Bill Keller, Mrs. Iris Masterson, Mrs. Tom Lawson, Mr. and Mrs. Mariner Jones. Richard Blackburn Is home for the summer from his studies at the University of Utah. Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Black and Dennis Salter visited at the H. Tharon Salter home in Mt. Car. mel over the weekend from Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Murphy visited at the J. EL Crofts home overnight (Friday) enrout home from Georgia. Mrs. Murphy is the former Carol Lee Mr. n, and children 'of Salt Lake City. Denise visited over the weekend. Dickie Lee Esplin daughter of Mr an d Mrs. Richard Esplin left for Mesa where she will enroll in a type school and stay with the Dell Chamberlains. We have 12 members, ten and eleven years old. We are learning about food and nutrition. Club officers were elected at our June 14th meeting, they are: Vicki Johnson, president; Jeri Lynn Flggins, vice president; Shiela Bryner, secretary; Darlene Heaton, reporter; Linda Judd, song leader; Chariyn Judd and Collen Hatch, recreation leaders. Our leader demonstrated how to make chocolate syrup. Ed Ka-ne- Mrs. Abbie Findlay entertained the Ladies Guild Club at Parrys Lodge June 12. Refreshments were served, with twelve guests present. Prizes went to Ina Hamblin, Rhea Pugh and Mrs. Howard. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Meeks from Ogden are in Kanab visiting his folks, the Isiah Meeks, and other relatives and friends. Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Heaton and family have been in Kanab visiting his father Franklin Hea- ton and other relatives and ends. They live in Roosevelt, Utah. fri- Mrs. Lois Marie Webb and two children are visiting her folks the M. W. Beards here. She lives in Salt Lake. Two students from this area receive graduation diplomas on Saturday, June 19, 1965, at the 58th annual commencement exercises of Stevens Henager ploma for completing a stenographic course. David will .receive an Associate of Commercial Science degree for completing a composite course. will College. They are; Beverly L. Mahon, ey, daughter of Mrs. Veria Mahoney, Kanab, and David M. Ogden, son of Mr. and Mrs. Den M. Ogden, Kanab. These students are two of 149 students from the Salt Lake City and Ogden schools of the college who will receive diplomas for completion of courses of one year or longer. One hundred of those receiving diplomas are from the Salt Lake City school and 49 are from the Ogden school. Speakers for the commencement exercises will be T. H. Bell, superintendent of public Instruction for the State of Utah. Both students attended the Salt Lake City school of the college.
