Space shuttle poem Dear Editor: The loss of the space shuttle Columbia has had a vast effect on all of us. Maybe even more so on those of us who stood on the ground watching as the Columbia raced across the southern Utah sky. The sight of the Columbia, as it came into view, was most inspiring. Its speed was breathtaking. Like some of you I was watching the awesome sunrise show the Columbia was putting on with joy and pride.
